In continued support of West Terrace Elementary and AndreaRemembered.org, Aching Acres has donated a bubble rock and surrounding landscape to the entrance way at West Terrace Elementaty. The job also includes a carved stone with the AndreaRemembered.org logo.

We are very proud to announce the Andrea M. Fuquay Memorial Scholarship, through the USI Foundation. This scholarship will be available for students planning to attend University of Southern Indiana, who have lost a parent and are in need of assistance with a college tuition funding. Andrea was a proud educator, and lover of children. Her memory will live on in the lives of the youths that benefit from this scholarship.

Spring is right around the corner, and that means landscaping. But it also means baseball! and if you’re an Evansville native, well then, that means Otters Baseball. Aching Acres is proud to announce the addition of Landscape Designer Brian Williams to our team of landscape professionals.  Brian is a lifetime resident of Southern Indiana and has been designing landscapes for 13 years.  He graduated from Purdue University in 1996 with a degree in Landscape Architecture.  When asked about his career in landscaping, Brian said “I believe the design process starts with understanding the client’s lifestyle and dreams before any drawing starts.  Each site is different and presents new opportunities.  The design, in every situation, must maintain a level of sustainability, ease of maintenance, functionality, and last but not least should have an individual flair.

This winter Aching Acres will make several updates to our Express Blower truck, that will increase the safety and performance of our Blower Team.  We will be adding a door lock that was not available when the truck was originally purchased.  This upgrade will help keep our operators safe when changing products.  Also in the works is a new Series 5 Material Feeder, which will improve the overall quality and performance of the blower.  For more information on our Material Blowing Service, please visit our Mulch and Materials Blowing Page.
